The Maine Studios 1st Anniversary

On August 24th, The Maine Studios will have been in operation for 365 days. In celebration of that event we will be holding The first Annual MAINE SUMMER SHORTS festival. The festivities will include half a dozen short films by Maine Film makers some that have never been seen by the public.

The studio has done and accomplished more than we had ever hoped for during our inaugural year and the future is looking great. At least four features have expressed interest in utilizing studio services and facilities and at least a dozen more shorts are slated over the next 6 months.

I hope to see you at the celebration on the 24th at the Nickelodeon Theater in Portland. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the theater for $10 or day of the festival for $15. Seated will be limited, so get your tickets soon.
