Location needed for local RI feature film
Hi we're looking for a free or minimal cost location for our film. the spot we had fell through recently.
the scene is for a banquet/awards type hall where we are honoring our lead character with an award. can be a small
or big hall, we can work with really anything as long as there are tables in the room or hall. thank you.
we're trying to shoot this scene this month. Can travel to MA or RI

I know this hall is not close to you but it is free. Function room, Hajjar's in Weymouth. I hope it works for you.

Find out if someone you know has a membership to a Veteran's Hall or club, Elks Lodge etc.. They usually can get a cheap rate. There is usually one in every town.

You might try hose Company #6 in Pawtucket. He has an upstairs banquet room it seats between 50 and 80 depending on the layout. I don't know about free but asking never hurts.

The Quidnessett Country Club in north kingston RI. Very nice and cheap.
