
So you Wanna be a New Media Fellow at OurTvSpace? The 2009 New Media Fellow will:
• Collaborate with the team at OurTvSpace to write an original 20 Episode Web Series from September 15, 2009 through January 15, 2010!
• Receive a Stipend of $10,000 to help cover living expenses while a New Media Fellow!
• Be Considered for Representation by Brandon Martinez - New Media Agent in the New Media/Alternative Programming Department at Abrams Artists Agency!
• Have the Opportunity of Having their Work Produced and Distributed by OurTvSpace!

OurTvSpace launched today its Call for Entries for writers for its “2009 New Media Fellow”! Well this is
great for writers, but it is also
fantastic for Actors and Crew (read on and you will find out why)! With its Call for Entries worldwide, OurTvSpace will scan the globe for writers! Applications started April 15, 2009 and the deadline for submission is August 15, 2009! Submission details are on the
new website, but in short, if you have written a screenplay, teleplay, or graphic novel, you qualify.

You submit your best writing sample, along with the other materials required, and the team at OurTvSpace will screen entries and narrow the field to ten finalists whose work will be submitted to the “Selection Committee”. The Selection Committee consists of five industry professionals (more details on bios on the
New Media Fellow website) consisting of:

Doug Kirkpatrick – Entertainment Attorney and a Founder of OurTvSpace – the new Digital Network – Creating Television Together - developing, producing, and distributing online programming and branded entertainment worldwide through collaborations with the creative community.

Brandon Martinez – New Media Agent in the New Media/Alternative Programming
Department at Abrams Artists Agency. Brandon is an inaugural member of the
International Academy of Web Television, the voting body for
The Streamy Awards. With principal offices in New York City and Los Angeles, Abrams Artists Agency represents clients in most areas of the entertainment industry including motion pictures, television, animation, theatre, radio and television commercials, hosting and broadcasting, and all forms of narration.

Marc Hustvedt - Co-Founder and Editor of
Tubefilter - the leading authority in episodic web television which is headquartered in Los Angeles. Marc is an entrepreneur, investor, writer, speaker and web TV producer and Co-Founder of the
International Academy of Web Television, the voting body for
The Streamy Awards.

Scott Anderson - heads the Harvard Square Scriptwriters, which was founded in 1986 as a group of writers working outside the studios and networks to provide the highest quality literary material possible by providing assistance to writers to help develop their craft and perfect their vision. From its beginnings as a group of ten men and women gathered around an oval table in Harvard University's Guttmann Library, Harvard Square Scriptwriters has been dedicated to helping writers nurture, develop, and refine not only individual scripts, but their talents and skills as well. Members have included Emmy, Toby, and Ace award winners, journalists, novelists, Harvard professors, doctors, lawyers, and writers from all walks of life.

Adam Campbell – is a writer living in Western Massachusetts after living in California. He has won many screenwriting awards and has sold numerous options on feature scripts. He was twice awarded the
coveted Chesterfield fellowship, presented by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures. While a Chesterfield fellow, Adam was mentored by David Koepp, screenwriter of "Jurassic Park" and "Spider-Man." His teleplay "Honey We're Young at Heart" was produced as an episode of Disney's "Honey I Shrunk the Kids: The TV
Show." Adam is the head writer of the OurTvSpace episodic series "
Oldbury Hill".
From the Ten Finalists, the Selection Committee Selects the 2009 New Media Fellow
who will:
• Collaborate with the team at OurTvSpace to write an original 20 Episode Web Series from September 15, 2009 through January 15, 2010!
• Receive a Stipend of $10,000 to help cover living expenses while a New Media Fellow!
• Be Considered for Representation by Brandon Martinez - New Media Agent in the New Media/Alternative Programming Department at Abrams Artists Agency!
• Have the Opportunity of Having their Work Produced and Distributed by OurTvSpace!
What emerges from this process is hoped to be an award winning web-series and
OurTvSpace will offer Cast and Crew opportunities on the series to Members of the OurFilmSpace/OurTvSpace family!
