SEEKING CAST for "Source"

Rough Water Films is shooting a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, 10 page, short film.
Using as a pitch for a feature and entering into festivals.
Non-union, SAG and AFTRA are eligible.

4 day shoot Thursday 4/22/10 - Sunday 4/25/10 in Gloucester, MA
lo/no/deferred pay, meals provided

Troy (male)
Age: 25-38
Height: 5’8” and above
Build: Physically demanding role: Actor is required to have
a moderate level of endurance and fitness.
Type: Anti-hero. Resilient and determined. Troy is a man of few words.
Events in his past have hardened him, and made him cold and distant.
Ultimately, he comes across as sympathetic.
Actor must be able to communicate intent through facial expression.

Granger (male)
Age: 30-45
Height: 5’8” and above
Type: Menacing, imposing, off-kilter and unpredictable.
Granger is a sadistic scavenger whose penchant for violence and
merciless demeanor create a general sense of unease.
Looking for an actor who can carry large chunks of dialogue
and play within subtext.

Kaley (female)
Age: 18-28
Height: 5’2” to 5’10”
Build: Petite
Type: Kaley is “damaged goods”. She’s been abused and
forcefully confined for nearly her entire adolescence.
Looking for an actress who is tougher than she appears:
must be able to use body language to convey emotional strain
and physical discomfort.

Mercenary (male) – 4 separate roles
Age: 18-40
Height: 5’6” and above
Build: Anywhere from muscular and toned to bulky and overweight.
Type: Looking for actors with unique/distinct appearances and personalities.
