I am a cinematographer in Local 600 (IATSE). I have shot feature films, film shorts, docs, some television segments and spots. I learned on film and have shot 35mm, Super16 (for years on my own Aaton), HD and video of various formats. I have worked in Boston, NYC, LA, Chicago and DC.

I like all of the creative arts and dabble in a few. I like to write and design when I am not shooting, and I have created a new type of LED light that you can see at blenderlights.com (which have been licensed by the top location lighting company, Lowel Light). I also like learning and the workings of the mind. To that end I write curriclum and teach at Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts, MassArt Continuing Ed, and the Maine Media Workshops.
About Me:
Scratch the surface of most people in creative fields and you will find a range of talents and interests. I started in sculpture, have had works sold and commissioned: have worked in graphic arts and advertising for Fortune 500 companies; have won Telly, Aegis and festival awards for spots and shorts; and I play and write music (albeit badly!). But I'm quite happy with a cup of tea and a good novel on a rainy day. I like people with passion and smarts and an honest approach to life and work.
Hi Tom,
Good to hear from you...yeah it has been way to long since we spoke last. I've been keeping busy, still working as an acting coach and I've been networking a good deal and making connections and building friendships and relationships with investors, actors and the like. I want to build up a production company that has the capability to do 2 features per year and hope to have it all in place by next year...we'll see. What are you doing these days? Would love to talk or get together...give me a call when you have a chance...my cell# is 781-244-9182.
