Are you in the Production Industry?

I'm an aspiring Unit Stills Photographer with thirty-something years' experience in 35mm photography. I currently shoot both film and digital.

I've worked as an extra on a couple feature films, Tecumseh: The Last Warrior (1994) and Taking Liberty (1993), so I understand how the work proceeds on-set.

One of my photographic specialties over the years has been band/concert photography, and nine of my photos are in the book, Radio Silence: A Selected Visual History of American Hardcore Music (MTV Press 2008). Several of my images were also chosen to be in the Radio Silence traveling photography exhibit, which has shown in New York, Burlington VT, Boston, Philadelphia, and San Diego. About Me:

As a kid I wanted to be an astronaut. In the waning days of my senior year of high school I borrowed my father's Zeiss Ikon camera and began learning photography in order to document the end of that phase in my life. Since then I've worked in a science museum, two history museums, a camera shop and a record store. I've been a college radio deejay, a punk rock drummer, a ham radio operator, a historical re-enactor, and a traditional craftsman. Nope, never did get that job at NASA.
