It's simple...this is a badass short. It is what it is...story, no story. I get the idea--these two guys? They're not friends...a grudge perhaps. That's beside the point. The point is some wicked kicking of ass involving great angles and editing. Lo…
So I check out the other three--the winner and the other runner up beside your entry...the winner deserves 1st place in that it was filmed beautifully...with a lot of production value and style. Sadly, it was missing the awesome action from the game…
Hey Leo, amazing job man. You never cease to amaze me with the work you produce. We should all get together again soon and I'll cook a huge steak and make sure to pack the lemon pepper haha! Take it easy man and keep in touch. Peace~

About Me:
I am a filmmaker and I tell stories. Apart from that, my eyes are for rent. I own camera equipment (the Panasonic HVX-200) and I work professionally as a digital cinematographer. I can also edit and color-grade.
In addition, I have a passion for action filmmaking. I have knowledge and experience in stunt coordinating and performing, especially on martial arts stunt work in the Hong Kong tradition (examples would be movies associated with Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, etc...).
Please feel free to contact me about work at leokeiangelos@yahoo.com, I look forward to hearing from you.

Check out Leo's short film:"Dark Samurai!!!!"
I did not anticipate the pistol, which was obviously your intention and I can see why: it was a great touch! Great light-dark contrast, too. Lastly, I felt the facial expressions were genius...the action shots are just the standard high-level genius of Leo and go without saying! =).
"Dark Samurai" really seemed to capture the feel of the old Japanese films (and Chinese super 8mm) from the 70's. Believe it or not, 25-30 years ago, I use to watch entire double features of those films. They reached depths/angles that American films usually did not...I cannot say if I really understood that comparison as a teenager, but it has likely influenced some of my filmmaking today, and so have you.
Always good to see your work. Peace, Bridge Action Film Watchers, Co-op.

Leo, I just viewed the film: "Afyonkarahisar Battle Cry," and noticed you did some of the camera work. Which part did you film, and where was that abandoned location? It looked like my kind of place to film and I am glad we share that in some of our works...I noticed Pins & Needles had a similar location.
Your role in Bridge Crusader now has reached (thanks to some feedback from Mark and Tannis Boyajian) the status/name of an actual character that is spoken of by Alice/Baroness. You are the "Mercenary." I would tell you more, but it would spoil the story. I just wanted to add that, because we still do not know how long it'll be before being able to get copies out to the cast.
