As President and Studio Executive, John manages the daily operations of The Maine Studios. John’s background includes business consulting and management, sales, and media. He brings an array of skills and experience to the company that is invaluable for success. In addition, John is a founding member of the Fenix Theatre Company (serving as former Managing Director and current Chairman of the Board) and President of Seymore Films and a managing partner in Wing Productions. At The Maine Studios, John's focus is in research and development of new concepts. He works with both internal productions and outside collaborators to evaluate and choose the best productions for The Maine Studios. John is an award-winning screenwriter and producer, and Emmy nominated voice-over talent, as well as an accomplished actor, casting director, UPM and director. His recent written and produced short film, She Feast, won the Killer Film Challenge and best production at the Phoenix Magazine Short Film Festival. His first short film, as director, was in consideration for the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. His Producer credits include the short films: Just Desserts, Come to Know, J.J., Strange Night, A Very Careful Man, Belle, She Feast, The Call and Time and Redemption. His feature films include; You Can’t Kill Stephen King, Murder in Maine, The Stalker, The Final Shift, Thinking with Richard and I, Zombie. John is currently shopping the feature version of She Feast. His acting credits include: Every Stone In Its Place, Bitten, 2 Grand, The Final Shift, Thinking with Richard and A Very Careful Man.
