Who's in Control?
Unborn, but with breath, then born with no
air, just the weight from life's wait, for me
to go somewhere, this uninvited pressure on
my chest from heart's first spoken word.
Always told it would be best. If I am the
best of the best, in the end, will it really
matter? I will still rest like the rest. Am I
not in control? Does life not care what I
say? Who bought my soul? What contract did you
present? Something is not right, did you not
pay? Because I am the one suffering, I will no
longer live this way! The inconsiderate
burden from the drive of life, if I am not at
the wheel, then who is driving? I hear the
rhythm of my heart, when it stops I will hear
the sound of me not existing. And when I hum
that last note and throw back that last bar,
God knows it will be me at the helm, heading
for life's cliff, which is far closer than it
is far.

My name is Grady Brackenridge Justice (family name). I can remember wanting to act at a very young age. I would ask my father to get me an agent, I thought that was all it took, and being a disabled Vietnam Vet he would always reply "I can get you Agent Orange." It took me years to realize Agent Orange wasn't a person. Years later I found myself sitting in front of my 12 inch TV so emotionally distraught over an episode of Dawson's Creek. Well, I'm a newbie to the whole "OurFilmSpace.com" scene. My first impressions have been positive. It feels a little bit like Myspace.com; customizing or adding a theme ,( always a plus!), able to post videos, music, pics etc. I'm curiously anticipating the networking possibilities and new friends I'll have here.
