- Are you in the Production Industry?
- I started off by doing extra work from time to time:( Mall Cop,The Invention of Lying , Brotherhood and 27 Down) , which I love . I would like to try print work and commercials as well. I've worked on truly inventive webseries ( Gavin Lance and Mintures to Live ) and soon to be possible cable show (Antique Warriors) and I would enjoy working in a production studio as well someday.
Though I am still green, I would like to continue to audition and build up my skills as well as my confidence.
I am taking Dramatic Scene Study and have completed Beginner and Intermediate Acting. I have also taken a production clalss.

Resume Question

I have a quick resume question-
If you shoot a scene in a movie, independent film, television show etc. and you put it on your resume but discover that when the show etc. premieres, that your scene was cut , do you have to remove it from your resume because in the final analysis, you're in fact, not in it? How does this work , exactly? If you keep it on your resume, then someone goes to look you up in the piece of work and you're not there, they probably think you are dishonest or… Continue

Tim Maurice said… - Thanks- it's a computer tech job, but I do a bunch of things. I get to work with music software and run live sound once a week. It's a really great stable job for now while I figure out what I need to do musically. Oh, and my little brother is doing well! He's a senior in high school and working on a movie for his final project (he wants to make films). And no problem about the audio event- it's definitely not for everyone haha. But let me know if any fun events come up and maybe we can meet up then!

Let's see... the only thing I can think of is an "Audio for Film" networking event coming up at Berklee, (I got a job working at Berklee, so I'll be "staff" at the event). - Oh whops, I've really got to update my info (I've been on vacation from this site for a while). I just graduated from Berklee in December and I'm staying around in Boston for now, playing and writing music. I just finished some work on a short film for the Doorpost Project (called "The Waiting Room") about a month ago. What have you been up to- anything fun?
