Adding on to what Sonya said, it's a relief to see Boston actors being considered for principal roles. Most of the time they cast the principals out of L.A. and New York and we get to audition for the one liners... and they even import for that!

- Anything related to film making. I am a director, producer, editior, photographer, actor, singer, and so much more. I love the industry and all the people in it.
- About Me:
- I began work at the age of 5 having been sent out to help with the family finances. I worked on a farm so I have always known about hard work and the need to make every dollar count. My imagination would soar as I mucked stalls, dug irrigation ditches, even while cleaning toilets. My escape was in school plays and I was able to earn money with my voice, even cut a record. My parents never came to my concerts and plays and they consistently discouraged my aspirations. I have always felt adversity makes us stronger so I resolved to never let go of my first love.
I was a professional photographer while going to school and eventually became a hospital administrator. I had put my dreams on the side but over the years, always found a way to express my outlet by directing plays, producing a TV show, and keeping up with my photography, even a cover on Better Homes and Gardens.
When I got divorced, I had to raise 2 kids on my own at age 5 and 6. Once they were talking about going to college, I felt it was time to give into my burning aspirations and release all my pent up energy, thus Sirona Studios was born.
Sirona is Gaelic for bright star or wishing star. It is where star light, star bright comes from and I am reminded of all the hopes and dreams of all the cast and crew that are on my shoulders. To me, this business is all about the actor, the grip, the gaffer, the script girl, the AD, DP, PA and all the other players who help bring the magic alive.
Art ennobles us, guides us through our moments of doubt, and transcends time. It touches our soul, brightens our hearts, and reaches across all cultural ties to touch the humanity in us all. What a wonderful occupation we share, to entertain, enlighten, to light the world with laughter, tears, action and mystery; and to share the magic that is entertainment.
The key to success is life is simple: find people who beleive in your dream and who are willing to work as hard as you to make it come true!

I was wondering if you would be interested in a couple of parts in a musical called "The Hat" in Portsmouth NH? The parts are of Jack (a tourist in Jamaica) and Fred a NH orchard farmer. The farmer has 2 songs to sing. The performance is Aug 21-23 at the Players Ring.
