Dan is an editor/journalist and published fiction-writer with almost 15 years of varied editing/writing experience. Dan is also a screen actor, an award-winning stage (EMACT) actor and voice actor (Gold Ogle Award). He lives in Maine and is the proud father of one amazing little boy named Liam David. Dan's hobbies include acting and reading and spending time with his family.

Dan's short story, "Icarus Soup," in 2004 took second place in the annual, international Paul B. Duquette Memorial Short Science Fiction contest, and, along with his poem "Water and Light," was published in the "CrossTIME Science Fiction Anthology, Volume III" from Crossquarter Publishing. Dan is also a freelance writer/editor who works with local newspapers and local aspiring children's book authors.

Dan loves learning new things and has a natural enthusiasm for teaching and being taught. Communication and the exchange of knowledge is what it's all about.
