- About Me:
- Chastelyn, born in Springfield, Massachusetts. Her parents are originally from Puerto Rico. She Graduated with a Bachelors degree from American International College. Chastelyn is best known for her participation in Univision Network's hit reality show "Nuestra Belleza Latina" where she managed to shine atop of thousands of Latin beauties across the USA that auditioned to be in the competition. She also participated in The Look of the Year Italy.
Currently, she is the reigning Miss Diaspora Model 2010-2011, an International pageant that takes place in New York City. She recently finished recording her first single titled "Amor Perdido" and is currently working on her first music album. Mayor Dominic Sarno, from her home town, gave Chastelyn a recognition for all her accomplishments thus far. He proclaimed January 11th, 2011 as "Chastelyn Rodriguez DAY"
She is grateful for all the support she received from her community, friends, and family. She gives back to the community by participating in school functions and talking to the students about her experience, goals, and dreams. The focus in these types of events is to show the students that once you set your mind into doing something, anything is possible!
Her passion is acting. She has worked in Featured films, independent films, short films, web series, commercial/print, and she is also one of the hosts of "Lights, Camera, Action" a bilingual TV show targeted to the young Latino audience, projected to be aired in 2011.
