Becki Dennis is an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, director, and performing arts teacher. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Point Park University's prestigious Conservatory of Performing Arts, and has since been working professionally in film, television, commercials, industrials, theatre, voice-overs, and print.
Her principal roles on-camera include commercials and industrials for Staples, Reebok, Dunkin’ Donuts, Millennium Training Institute, Boys Town, United States Department of Agriculture, Skillsoft, Fresenius Medical Care, Vida Health Communications, and Country Bank. She has had featured roles in several films and TV shows and starred in the short "Looking Left for Right." Additionally, she has recorded voice overs for PBS's "Nova Science Now" and the audio dramas "Between Bars" and "The Slasher." She has also modeled in print advertisements for Progressive Insurance and Elsevier Textbooks.
Becki has been performing on stage her whole life, and has appeared in regional theatre productions across New England. Some of her credits include "Death and the Powers: The Robot's Power" with the American Repertory Theater, "Disney's High School Musical" at the Ogunquit Playhouse, and "Le Cabaret Grimm," an original musical that premiered at the Boston Center for the Arts. She regularly acts in interactive theatre, as well, having played a wide variety of characters in numerous comedy weddings, wakes, proms, and murder mysteries.
As a choreographer and director, Ms. Dennis has staged over twenty musicals, and has been nominated for a North Shore Music Theatre Spotlight Award for "Best Choreography" for her work on "A Chorus Line." She was also the choreographer and casting director for an educational music video for Deb Med, an international medical supply company. As a theatre and dance educator, she has had extensive experience teaching all ages and levels for Stoneham Theatre's young company, the Donna Miceli Dance Center, and Kidstock, to name a few.
In addition to the training she received while a theatre major at Point Park’s Conservatory, Becki has studied at Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, C.P. Casting, Christine Wyse Casting (formerly Maura Tighe Casting,) Plymouth Rock Studios, Improv Asylum, and Broadway Dance Center. She is a member of SAG, AFTRA, StageSource, the Massachusetts Production Coalition, and is represented for print work by Model Club, Inc.
