- About Me:
- I am a professional, dedicated, adventure-seeker who has a passion...As a horse trainer and riding instructor by trade for the past 13+ years, I have recently begun to shift my sights toward performing stunt work in the film industry.
I traveled to Los Angeles, CA this past March with Tim Chitwood to attend a 3-day intensive Stunt Driving course with Rick Seaman at his Motion Picture Driving Clinic. I never imagined I would enjoy the stunt driving as much as I did, and am currently actively pursuing purchasing a Crown Vic so as to work on perfecting the driving and car-rigging skills I garnered while in LA. I was also excited to have been invited to Bob Yerkes' place in Northridge, for some training while visiting the area.
Some recent stunt-training includes trampoline work with Bill Young, the owner/founder of The Trampoline Place in Wauregan, CT who teaches the Canadian National Program. I've trained in fencing at the Pomfret School and learned swordwork and took an intensive rapier/broadsword class with Rob Issacson this past April. I've spent countless hours in the saddle at countless clinics/seminars/competitions all over the country and internationally for horseback riding, and am currently the co-owner/manager/head trainer and instructor of PondView Equestrian Center, a full-service facility that houses 24 horses.
I love to travel and hope to fill my passport within the next 7 years! I have been to a number of countries including Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, New Zealand, Sint Maarten and Australia.
