Stasia was a student in my Beginning Acting class at the Actors Workshop and I have had the opportunity to observe her talents at length. Stasia has an excellent ear for drama. She is able to hear what the text and subtext of the piece is saying to her, as well as communicate with her fellow actors. She has an ease and friendliness about her that causes many to gravitate toward her. As an actress, Stasia is one of those rare actors that are content to listen and learn, instead of constantly vying for attention. In her cool and calm fashions, she dominates the scenes she's performing in, without ever resorting to show off tactics. Stasia showed a great dedication to doing the homework of the craft, far beyond the goal of merely learning lines. She was very advanced on her work on interpreting text, fleshing out characters and making strong, confident choices onstage.
