What are your "Ourfilmspace"/film-gig resolutions for 2009????

I have a few resolutions: 1. to continue to actively "network" with the friends I've made (and will make) in the film community, i.e. actors, pre-post production crew, casting, directors/producers etc., (online, in person, via phone etc.) 2. to keep up with "learning" as much about the fascinating "craft" and "process" of acting/film-making by attending audition/casting workshops, reading lots of articles, blogs, film related websites, books etc. 3. I will try to attend casting calls and seek audition opportunities for principle roles (dayplayer) as well as background roles. 4. Most of all, I will enjoy the "fun" of this wonderful life and maintain a positive, enthusiastic demeanor and provide mentoring for those just starting their journeys!

Shelly, that's a wonderful goal you have, and I've never seen anyone so passionate about something before...but realistically, if I were you, I'd try and find another martial arts guy to be inspired by...Jackie Chan is retired darling. There are so many badasses out there (The Protector's Tony Jaa for one), you should try and set a goal that is possible. I guess if Jackie Chan came out of retirement, and starting making movies again, it might be attainable...but I don't think that's going to happen. You probably know ten times more about Mr. Chan than I do...so I'm telling you nothing new.
I checked Jackies IMDb...seems he's still in movies. So, I guess he's not retired. But I stand by my advice to find another martial arts inspiration--Jackie ain't gettin' any younger--he's around 50 isn't he?
1. Never wear fangs in a film again.
2. Work on stage in '09. (I miss it so).
3. Put together a demo reel (finally).
4. Get my website up (have to bribe the other MichaelReed.com with fruit baskets and soap...I mean, he's not even using the domain but refuses to let it go).
5. Marry my beautiful fiancee.
6. Work out, so I can attain that oh-so sought-after Brad Pitt/Fight Club physique. (What? That's realistic...isnt it?)
7. Befriend Terry Gilliam, by sending uber-clever emails to his agent, which find there way to him, and cause him to cast me in his next film.
8. And finally, work on at least two featuers, two shorts, and a stage production (you know what they say, 'Aim High or Die'...wait...that's the military, nevermind).

Thanks for reading. Break many legs in '09.
Hahah. Fangs annoy me so. You can't eat, you drool, you have nasty PolyDent caked to your lips, gums and cheeks...lovely.

Marrying my beautiful fiancee doesn't even have to be mentioned--it's a given, and it really didn't have to be listed because it doesn't have anything to do with acting (which is what this list is supposed to be about), but I listed it anyway because it's a huge deal to me. I know you're just teasing me William...I guess I set myself up for that. I actually thought about shifting it to # 1...leave it up to you to call me out. ;)
No Fangs number one. You have but one more scene requiring Fangs for Eyeris and then no more from us... I'd swear to it but meh, when I don't I mutter some type of fowl statement or swear?
As for 2009 Film Resolutions:

1: See the Final Cut of VAmL by May
2: Finish Production on the Shorts lined up between B.C. Films and Eyeris
3: MAIZE- All I have to say
4: I have to agree with the statement get back into theatre. Maybe at the end of 2009 or early 2010. I do miss working on Theatre Productions.
Thanks for all the great ideas/resolutions. Theatre sounds good to me too, last did a show w/my daughter in 2006 and had a blast!
work, work, work, work,....sleep, ....work, work, work, work,...sleep. :)
