TV Sketch Comedy Characters
Battle Green Productions seeks Boston-area Actors as cast members and undestudies for its Sketch Comedy-Variety series. Cast members will appear in either guest segments or recurring roles. Understudies will report to set and be prepared to fill in as background characters or as featured performers if needed. Episodes appear on Public Access Television and Web TV. The project is non-union, unpaid, and designed for experience only. Episodes are taped on Saturdays at a suburban TV Studio north of Boston. Roles are appropriate for performers 21 or older.
Available Roles...
MANAGER - A serious, fastidious, persnickety retail sales type. Often challenged by colorful characters who patronize or work in his establishments.
MAN #1 - Blue-collar worker who speaks in a regional dialect similar to those heard in Boston or New York.
