I am in the process of casting for a movie I'm going to make and I was wondering if anyone knows of any places in the Boston, MA area that offer/provide a place to hold auditions for no charge.

Did you ever get any good advice on free rental spaces in Boston?? I am looking to do the same thing!

I did not, but the building my full-time job is in has a room available for tenants to use for business. So, I was able to use the room :)

Try Librarries.  We used the Framingham Library for free for auditions for Dudleytown Curse.  You can usually get a nice private room!

Libraries are usually good, but the reality is you have to pay something. Trying to find free space in Boston is tough, unless you know someone. Because there is a lot of space, everyone is using them and charging for them.

You will have to pay something if it gets down to it. That's just the way it can be in this town.
