Serving the Film and Television Industry in New England
Looking for teenage boys and girls to be in a
re-enactment sequence for film about Great White Sharks arriving in
Cape Cod. Award winning Boston filmmaker Garth Donovan(Phillip The
Fossil-2010, Rubberneck-2012) is making a feature documentary about
the arrival of great white sharks in New England waters. Dating his
personal obsession with these amazing creatures back to the first time
he saw JAWS, Donovan sets out to meet one of the most revered and
feared species on the planet eye to eye and confront one his largest
phobias(being ripped to shreds) in the process. The film will examine
the cultural impact of Spielberg’s masterpiece as well as the local
community’s reaction to this interesting addition to their usually
calm waters.
Looking for teenage boys and girls 16-19 to be in night time shoot
hanging out and swimming in pool. There will be a teenage boy playing
the director who was so effected by the film Jaws and so afraid of
sharks that he even feared swimming in pools. We will be simulating a
shark attacking him in the chlorine filled waters, obviously going for
an over the top, hilarious sort of feel.
Filming July. 31, 5pm - midnight. Littleton Ma. No pay, but food,
credits and a copy of the finished film.
